About the Role
About the Role
A mission-driven, AI-first healthcare technology company is transforming clinical trial design by leveraging cutting-edge software and machine learning. The company’s AI-powered platform enables life sciences organizations to optimize complex trial designs, reduce development costs, accelerate milestones, and improve patient outcomes.
The organization fosters an inclusive, growth-oriented culture with strong values around collaboration, innovation, and patient impact. It offers competitive compensation and benefits, generous leave policies, and hybrid work flexibility. Employees in the San Diego area split time between home and a collaborative office space, while remote team members participate in periodic in-person sessions.
Position: Senior AI Data Scientist
As a Senior AI Data Scientist, you will work directly with AI leadership and the CTO to drive execution of the organization’s AI strategy. This is a highly technical and hands-on role focused on developing and implementing state-of-the-art machine learning solutions across a variety of healthcare and clinical domains.
You will design and build AI-powered capabilities, particularly in areas such as clinical trial optimization, protocol generation, outcome prediction, and unstructured data processing. A strong background in LLMs, MLOps, Python, and production-level ML deployment is required. This is a critical role for a pragmatic and inventive data scientist who thrives in fast-paced, impact-driven environments.
Location Requirement: Must be available to work onsite in San Diego, CA 2–3 days per week.
